Our History
Founded in 1919, the American Legion Auxiliary’s mission is to support The American Legion and to honor the sacrifice of those who serve by enhancing the lives of our veterans, military, and their families, both at home and abroad. For God and country, we advocate for veterans, educate our citizens, mentor youth, and promote patriotism, good citizenship, peace and security.
The Marshall LaBree American Legion Auxiliary Unit #304 was Chartered on January 2, 1950, by Hope Reed the National President.
We are seventy-four years young and still going strong.
If you are not already a member considering joining and giving back to those who served for us and their families.

Florida Girls State was first held in 1947 and is currently attended by 300 young women who have the opportunity of experiencing our democratic form of government by assuming the roles of city and state officials or legislators. Through these experiences young women learn of the privileges and responsibilities of citizenship which distinguishes our form of government.
